TANZANIAN PRIVATE ISLAND TO ACCEPT VISITORS IN 2016

Life can get pretty hard so it’s extremely important not to get lost in the whirlwind of its occasional madness. Maybe it’s time for a getaway to a faraway continent for some unwinding that you have been planning forever.
Maybe you just want to throw a swanky, exclusive private party on a lush island without having to deal with gate-crashers and unnecessary non-invitations. Maybe, you just want a honeymoon where it’s just the two of you.

Whatever it is, this private island is a gorgeous gem in a far corner of the world where there are no distractions, save from the occasional call of exotic birds or the timely crash of glittering turquoise waves on the whitest shore.

Located just off the coast of Tanzania, the Thanda Island is set to open on March 20 this year. The exclusive private island sits on its own marine reserve, with a population including whale sharks and nesting sea turtles. No need for alarm though – whale sharks may be large but they are known for their docile nature and have been reported to allow swimmers to ride on them on occasion.
At 8-hectares, the villa offers an indoor aquarium in a spacious living area, with a Steinway grand piano for ambiance, a mandatory wine collection, a cigar humidor, an exquisite, glass rim-flow swimming pool, and a wrap-around dining area featuring 180-degrees of lush oceanic view. The villa includes two traditional bungalows, and if needed, two safari style tents.

For special occasions the villa accommodates up to 26 adults, with eight guests in two traditional ‘bandas’ (bungalows) and eight guests in two safari-style tents, set up on the lawn.
